Corona-Themed Restaurant Makes Debut At MIA

Following the theme of Cinco de Mayo, Corona Beach House Miami, the first-ever Corona-themed restaurant, opened its doors at Miami International (MIA) on Wednesday.

The restaurant features a mock vacation scene, complete with beachside seating in the sunny outdoors, petrified palm trees, a mosaic glass tile ceiling, and ocean and beach-lighted wall signs throughout the store.

“Corona Beach House adds a unique and exciting dimension to the collection of world-class food and beverage establishments at MIA,” says Miguel Southwell, Miami-Dade Aviation Department deputy director of business development and retention. “The ambiance provides the visiting patron a feeling of deep relaxation, replacing the customary travel anxiety.”

The menu, designed by Chef Michael Jasa, offers authentic Mexican cuisine such as nachos, Corona Guadalajara rolls, Corona beer cheese soup, braised pork shank carnitas, burgers, sandwiches and daily specials. The drink menu features Corona Extra, Corona Light, Modelo Especial, Negra Modelo, and Pacifico beer, as well as wine and signature cocktails.

Opened by Modelo and Crown Imports, the Corona Beach House Miami can be found near Gate D-23 and is one of more than 40 new restaurants and shops opening in the airport’s North Terminal this year.
