CVG Plans To Name McGraw Its Chief Executive

Candace McGraw is expected to be named CEO of Cincinnati-Northern Kentucky International (CVG) later this week. She will replace John Mok, who will be resigning.

“Candace’s diverse experience and expertise in business development are vital to CVG as we all work to strengthen our airport and position it for future growth,” says Michael L. Robinson, chairman of the Kenton County Airport Board. “Candace is well-respected within our organization, the industry and the community, and we look forward to her leadership at CVG.”

McGraw, 48, joined CVG in 2009 as chief administrative officer. She has held various leadership roles in her career, including deputy director at Cleveland-Hopkins International (CLE), general counsel for the Cleveland City Council and legal counsel and deputy director of Charitable Gaming for the Ohio Lottery Commission.

“Our airport is one of our region’s most important assets and I look forward to leading our world-class team as we work with our airline partners and leaders throughout the region to position CVG for future growth,” McGraw says.

She earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in political science from Duquesne University, and a juris doctor degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. She is a 2011 graduate of Leadership Cincinnati.
