Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG) will welcome a Jimmy John’s sandwich shop to its concessions program in 2025. Operated by Tailwind Hospitality Inc., the outpost of the popular chain will open in the Concourse B food court in the space where Chick-fil-A currently resides, with plans to move Chick-fil-A to a larger space in the food court. Airport officials said the decision to add a Jimmy John’s to CVG’s lineup was made after passenger feedback revealed 33% of passengers were interested in concessions concepts offering soups, salads and sandwiches.
“We look forward to welcoming Jimmy John’s to our concessions program,” said Candace McGraw, CEO of CVG. “The brand is new to CVG, and the operator, Tailwind Hospitality Inc., is very responsive and great to work with. This new concept aligns well with passenger preferences and is an ideal addition to our food court in Concourse B.”
