The American Heart Association, in partnership with the Anthem Foundation, announced that a hands-only CPR training kiosk is now available at Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International (CVG).
The kiosk, located in Concourse A, teaches the lifesaving skill to travelers in just five minutes. The kiosk comes equipped with a short video providing an overview of hands-only CPR, followed by a practice session ending with a 30-second test.
For practicing purposes a rubber torso is provided, allowing the kiosk to give feedback about the depth and rate of compressions, as well as proper hand placement.
“Our vision at CVG is to provide an unforgettably positive experience for our passengers,” said Candace McGraw, CEO of CVG. “We’re pleased to partner with the association in this collaborative effort to host the kiosk at the airport, as it is a resource for travelers to learn how to help others when they need it the most.”
