Travelers passing through Dallas/Fort Worth International’s (DFW) Terminal A can get a serving of Dallas Cowboys culture.
HMSHost Corp. and joint venture partner Frank Howell of F. Howell Services Ltd. have opened the Dallas Cowboys Club, a full-service restaurant featuring Texas-inspired cuisine.
“With clear local importance and appeal to a broad fan base that stretches all over the world, there is no better brand to represent the Dallas area in the airport than the famous Dallas Cowboys football team,” says Anthony Alessi, vice president of business development at HMSHost. “We are absolutely thrilled to be working with the Cowboys and the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, two great organizations, to offer travelers a true club-level VIP experience right inside the terminal.”
The restaurant seats up to 80 people and also has a to-go area. The menu includes regional specialties and Tex-Mex favorites; there are also health-conscious options such as Local Farm Crudite and the Legend’s Jalapeno Caesar salad with grilled jalapeno-lime chicken. Other dishes on the menu include the Pork Carnitas Plate, Flat Iron Chimichurri and the Truffle Mac & Cheese Skillet. Breakfast options such as biscuits and gravy, Brioche French toast and the Big Dallas Skillet also will be available.
“Opening the Dallas Cowboys Club creates an exciting way we can elevate the customer experience at DFW Airport while offering customers a great taste of Texas tradition,” says Sean Donohue, CEO of DFW. “The restaurant also enhances the longstanding partnership DFW Airport has enjoyed with the Dallas Cowboys, which includes three Dallas Cowboys Pro Shop stores in the terminals and a major merchandising warehouse.”
Stephen Jones, Dallas Cowboys’ COO, says the company is “excited to provide a taste of the Dallas Cowboys experience” at the airport.
“It is an honor to partner with such quality brands as HMSHost and DFW Airport, who are both known for their excellent consumer service, to bring the Cowboys club environment to airport patrons on the go,” he says.
