Delaware North. Adding 3 Concepts At IAH

Delaware North Companies Travel Hospitality Services will add Fuddruckers, Schlotzsky’s Deli and Peet’s Coffee at George Bush Intercontinental (IAH).

Delaware North has been at IAH since 1998 and signed a three-year extension to its food contract earlier in 2008.

“Travel Hospitality Services is always looking to grow its operations to better serve our customers at airports around the country,” says Matt King, president of the division, in a statement.

Marlene McClinton, airport spokeswoman, says the latest openings are part of an ongoing effort by IAH and Delaware North to keep ahead of the changing trends and habits of the traveling public.

As part of a 2003 extension of its operating agreement, Delaware North committed to increasing its capital expenditures and has done so, putting $5.3M into upgrades during that timeframe, she says.

The new concepts “are part of the Houston Airports System’s efforts to improve customer service and bring customers the best and highest quality available,” McClinton says. “We work very well together and we are all moving together on the same page as far as customer service and keeping concessions high quality.”
