Buffalo, N.Y.-based Delaware North Travel Hospitality Services has opened the 40/40 Club in Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International (ATL).
The sports bar was inspired by the original 40/40 Club in New York which takes its name from a baseball term for the group of players who have hit 40 home runs and stolen 40 bases in a single season. Located in ATL’s Concourse D, the 1,500 square foot restaurant will feature popular menu items from the original restaurant such as the 40/40 nachos, 40/40 signature wings, sliders and empanadas in addition to multiple large screen televisions. In partnership with original club founders Jay-Z and his business partner Juan Perez,the 40/40 Club location in ATL is the first in an airport and will serve breakfast, lunch and dinner.
There are plans to create a VIP lounge on a different floor, separate from the sports bar.
