Delaware North Expands Business Development Team

Delaware North has announced two new additions to the business development team for its travel business.

Jodi Battaglia has been promoted to director of brands for the travel business, and Simon Lorady has joined the company as director of concepts. Both will be based at Delaware North’s headquarters in Buffalo, New York, and will report to Vito Buscemi, vice president of brands and concepts for the travel business.

In their new roles Battaglia and Lorady will identify national, regional and local brands to expand and enhance the company’s portfolio. They will also collaborate with leadership to develop operational strategy for identified brands and work with designers, operators and project coordinators on the concept development process.

Battaglia most recently served as a senior marketing analyst for Delaware North’s sport service division. She joined the company as an intern in 2011 and later spent three years a marketing research analyst before being promoted to a project management role.

Lorady’s most recent role was terminal director of operations for OTG at John F. Kennedy International (JFK). He oversaw more than 30 restaurants and markets that generated in excess of $45 million in annual sales. His career also includes stints with Caesars Entertainment Corporation; Fredrick’s Italian Restaurant & Lounge; Borgata Hotel, Casino and Spa; and King George.
