Delaware North Opens Starbucks At CHS

Delaware North has opened a new Starbucks coffee shop at Charleston International Airport (CHS), one of several new concepts to be developed as part of the concessionaire’s 10-year contract extension with the airport. The new Starbucks, located in the airport’s Terminal A-B Connector, offers travelers the global coffee brand’s signature beverages and snacks, as well as the ability to order through its mobile app. The CHS Starbucks is operated in collaboration with former South Carolina state senator Marlon Kimpson, local attorney Robert Bucholz and ACDBE partner Shawnalea Garvin.

“We are thrilled to continue our partnership with Charleston International Airport and bring beloved brands such as Starbucks to our travelers,” said Michael Blake, director of operations for Delaware North’s airport operations. “Our goal is to enhance the traveler experience by providing exceptional dining options, and the addition of Starbucks is a key part of that vision.”

“We are excited to blend the warmth of Starbucks with the spirit of Charleston International Airport,” added Elliott Summey, executive director and CEO of Charleston County Aviation Authority (CCAA). “Here, every cup of coffee is crafted to fuel your journey and every visit is a chance to experience a moment of comfort and connection before you take off. Cheers to new adventures and the simple joy of a perfect coffee break.”
