Delaware North is opening three new restaurants at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport’s (AUS) Barbara Jordan Terminal. The concepts include two Austin brands – The Peached Tortilla and JuiceLand – and a new concept, Hippies & Hops.
The Peached Tortilla, which serves Asian-Southern inspired cuisine, was founded as an Austin food truck in 2010. Its offerings include their special rendition of chow fun called Southern Fun, Malaysian laksa, charred brussels and pork belly buns.
Also founded in Austin, JuiceLand has been serving customers since 2001. Its menu offers a variety of fruit and vegetable smoothies, juices and cold-pressed juice bottles, juice shots, cleanses and hot drinks in addition to plant-based and vegan grab-and-go meals, including salads, wraps and snacks.
Hippies & Hops is a new bar concept featuring local beers from Live Oak Brewing Company and Austin other brands. Live Oak Brewing beers on offer will include lagers, ales and more.
These new openings are part of AUS’s ongoing dining transformation in its newly renovated east food park of Barbara Jordan Terminal.
“Austin has a very distinctive presence and much of that stems from the city’s food culture,” says Kevin Kelly, president of Delaware North’s travel division. “These new dining options are an authentic taste of what many have come to love about the city and we are proud to offer Austin-born concepts to everyone who travels through AUS.”
Delaware North’s other restaurants at the airport include Salt Lick BBQ and Annie’s Café, both local Austin flavors.
