DEN Grants Permits To Uber, Lyft

Denver International (DEN) has developed a new permit that allows ride-sharing services to pick up and drop off passengers at the airport.

The airport has reached agreements to extend permits to Lyft and to Uber.

“Denver International Airport is pleased that this new agreement increases the transportation choices available to our customers,” says Kim Day, airport CEO. “As ground transportation services continue to evolve, the airport is committed to providing safe, convenient access to a wide array of options.”

Day adds that the airport worked with the office of Mayor Michael Hancock and DEN’s transportation community to arrive at the agreement to allow such companies to operate. Drivers from both companies will pick up passengers on Level 4 and drop them off at Level 6 of the main terminal.
