Denny Joins Columbus Regional Airport Authority

Casey Denny will join the Columbus Regional Airport Authority in June as vice president of asset management.

In that role he will oversee the airport assets and provide strategic direction for the use and maintenance of buildings, grounds, pavement and equipment at Port Columbus International (CMH), Rickenbacker International (LCK) and Bolton Field (TZR). He’ll manage more than 175 employees in six departments.

“Casey Denny’s distinguished aviation career, related accomplishments and interpersonal communication skills qualify him to lead a division that’s critically important to the success of our airports in the Columbus region,” says Elaine Roberts, president and CEO of the authority. “I’m thrilled to have him on my executive team.”

Denny’s aviation career spans more than 20 years and encompasses asset management, airfield construction and maintenance, airport-run fixed base operation, emergency operations, airport operations, strategic planning and more. He’s currently deputy director at Phoenix-Mesa Gateway (AZA).

“I’m very enthused about transitioning to Central Ohio’s vibrant community and growing aviation system,” he says. “Port Columbus, Rickenbacker and Bolton Field airports hold respected reputations locally and among airlines and aviation peers all over the world. I look forward to making meaningful contributions alongside Elaine Roberts and her talented teams.”
