Denver International Airport (DEN) has appointed Cristal Torres DeHerrera as its new chief of staff. In this position DeHerrera will manage the airport’s external affairs business unit, which oversees the airport’s executive office and government and community affairs, including DEN’s commerce hub. DeHerrera will begin this position on April 2.
DeHerrera has served as deputy city attorney for the city and county of Denver since 2014. She is also a legal and policy advisor to the mayor and the city. Prior to this position DeHerrera was a partner at the law firm Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck. She holds a J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law.
