Michael B. Hancock, the newly sworn-in mayor of Denver, Colo., reappointed Kim Day as manager of aviation at Denver International (DEN) as one of his first orders of business.
“I am honored and privileged to have this opportunity, and excited to be able to work with Mayor Hancock,” Day says. ” Over the next few years we will work to further the vision of Denver International Airport as the region’s largest economic engine and transportation gateway.”
Day joined the airport in April 2008. She has more than 30 years of experience, including as executive director of Los Angeles World Airports. She also spent 20 years as an architect and planner, specializing in airports.
She has a bachelor of architecture degree from Cornell University.
