DFW Approves New Concession Contracts

Several new concession concepts, as well as a beverage pouring rights and sponsorship pact with the Coca-Cola Company, are coming to Dallas/Fort Worth International (DFW) after the airport board approved proposals on Feb. 4.

The new concessions include Maggiano’s Little Italy restaurant, which will open in Terminal C by Gate C16. STAR/MGO LLC will operate the concept. The Rodeo Bar, by DFW Pop Restaurants LLC, is another new concept. It will be located in Terminal B at Gate B31. Paradies Lagardère will add a third 7-Eleven, this one in Terminal D.

The contract for snack vending services across the entire airport went to Compass Group USA Inc. Also, temporary permits were granted to HMSHost Corp. to operate a Belgium Beer Cafe in Terminal C and to Grove Inc. to operate a snack kiosk in Terminal B.

The new 10-year contract with Coca-Cola will take effect in March and include the company’s brands of bottled, canned and pre-packaged beverages at the airport’s concessions, retail locations and other concession facilities.

“Coca-Cola brings a global brand portfolio that we are confident will meet the needs of our customers,” says Sean Donohue, CEO of DFW. “At DFW, we are focused on enhancing the choices available to customers at our airport, and the comprehensive deal that Coca-Cola put together for DFW shows they share in our customer focus.”
