Dallas/Fort Worth International (DFW) has named La Bodega Winery its No. 1 retailer for the second year running.
La Bodega, at Terminal D, Gate 14, was also named 2008 Retail Concessionaire of the Year, based on customer satisfaction, customer service, retail appearance and sales skills.
“This is a tremendous honor for us,” says owner Gina Puente-Brancato, president/CEO of Puente-Brancato Enterprises, which owns other airport retail and food & beverage concepts. “Providing our customers with great service and great products is always our number one priority. This award is a testament that we are doing our job, and we strive to continue rewarding travelers with a premium wine experience.”
It is the first time any retailer at DFW has won the award for two consecutive years.
La Bodega Winery opened at the airport’s then-new International Terminal D in 2005, offering Texas wines and select boutique international labels, wine merchandise and accessories. It has another location at Terminal A, Gate 15, which opened in 1995.
