Joseph DiDomizio, president and CEO of Hudson Group, has joined the board of directors at Communities In Schools, an organization aimed at preventing students from dropping out. He is pictured above with CIS Board Chairwoman Elaine Wynn.
The organization indicated that DiDomizio’s addition to the board reflects the company’s commitment to help Communities In Schools change the picture of education for students across America.
Hudson Group has created a marketing partnership with CIS designed to reach the travelers who shop at the company’s stores. Countertop collection boxes in those travel essential and specialty stores raise awareness and collect funds for the organization, and signage encourages customers to donate spare change. The initiative has raised more than $1 million in donations.
