San Antonio International (SAT), through a partnership with the San Antonio Public Library, has added two digital kiosks where airport customers can access the library’s available digital downloads.
The kiosk software is provided by Overdrive, a full-service digital distributor of books and other content. Library cardholders who visit the kiosks, which also provide rapid recharge stations for smartphones and electronic devices, will be able to access the entire digital collection. For those from out of town or who do not have library cards, the kiosks offer temporary library cards available from Overdrive.
The program is funded by the Friends of the San Antonio Public Library.
