Des Moines International Airport (DSM) has recently completed a $1.8 million update of its landside and airside concessions and amenities. The project, which began in July 2017, includes the additions of restaurants, retail, updated parking and shuttle service.
Recent additions to DSM’s food and beverage options include Berk & Chester’s, Arugula & Rye, Mill Supply Co., and Portermill. Berk & Chester’s provides a range of quick bar snacks and sit-down entrees. Arugula & Rye offers a deli and salad bar in addition to hot breakfast items and made-to-order flatbreads. Mill Supply Co. presents grab-and-go options for travelers, including sandwiches, yogurt parfaits, salads, snacks and bottled beverages. Portermill features Iowa-made craft brews and meals like burgers and fries, sandwiches and salads, all with a focus on locally sourced ingredients.
