Jennifer Eckman has been named the director Minot International Airport (MOT), where she will oversee safety, business administration, infrastructure maintenance and regulatory compliance at the North Dakota airport.
Eckman had 17 years of management experience in aviation administration, airport operations, project management, finance, marketing, communication and promotions. Most recently, she was project manager for Northern Plains UAS Test Site, where she oversaw research projects designed to integrate unmanned aircraft systems into the National Airspace System.
Eckman’s other aviation experience includes serving as airport real estate specialist with the Paine Field/Snohomish County Airport (PAE) and as deputy airport director for finance and administration for the Rapid City Regional Airport (RAP).
“The airport’s potential for growth and development makes it a shining star for the Magic City,” said Eckman in a release announcing her appointment. “I am enthusiastic to join the team in leading it into the future. I am also extremely excited about working with and developing the teams at the Minot International Airport.”
Eckman was placed by ADK Consulting & Executive Search, retained consulting and search firm based in Jacksonville, FL.
