Eddie George’s Grille, Bob Evans Express Enter Port Columbus

Two Columbus favorites have joined the food and beverage options at Port Columbus International (CMH).

HMSHost Corp. will operate Eddie George’s Grille 27 and Bob Evans Express in Concourse B.

“We appreciate Host’s investment, which will further enhance our airport modernization efforts and the traveler experience,” says Elaine Roberts, president and CEO of the Columbus Regional Airport Authority.

HMSHost is investing roughly $3.1 million in capital improvements to develop the locations. Eddie George’s is a new location. It will be about 4,000 square feet and will pay homage to the former Heisman Trophy-winning running back from Ohio State University. Bob Evans Express is being converted. Also in the concourse, the company will renovate Columbus Brewing Co. and rebrand Wolfgang Puck to another HMSHost-owned concept.

“Eddie George’s Grille 27 will be a welcome addition for Buckeye fans and visitors, and Bob Evans is a favorite in Columbus,” says Derryl Benton, vice president of business development for HMSHost. “The two together will offer a sense of place for travelers.”
