Jeffrey Evans has been named the new chief financial officer (CFO) of the Columbus Regional Airport Authority (CRAA), which operates John Glenn Columbus International Airport (CMH).
The CRAA, which also oversees the cargo-focused Rickenbacker International Airport (LCK), and general aviation airport Bolton Field, selected Evans following a nationwide search. He succeeds Randy Bush, who is retiring after 28 years with the CRAA.
Evans brings more than 20 years of experience in corporate finance and reporting, treasury management, budgeting, endowment investments, strategic planning, risk management and human capital management. He previously served as CFO for the Detroit Zoological Society, Stout Risius Ross, PMA Consultants and Smith Group Companies.
“A proven leader and accomplished finance professional, Jeff brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to this vital position in our organization,” said Joseph Nardone, CRAA president and CEO. “We look forward to Jeff’s leadership as we enter the next chapter of our financial future.”
In his new role, Evans will be directly responsibility for financial reporting and planning, treasury management including debt issuance and compliance, parking and ground transportation, internal controls and audits.
“I am honored by the opportunity to join CRAA at such an important time in the company’s evolution,” said Evans. “I look forward to working with Joe and the rest of the leadership team in leading CRAA’s finance function, building on its strong business fundamentals and serving its customers and other key stakeholders.”
