Jai Ferrell is the new interim assistant general manager of commercial development at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL), the airport announces, adding it is conducting a nationwide search to find someone to fill the position permanently.
Ferrell brings more than 15 years of marketing experience to her new role, most recently serving as the ATL director of marketing. There she led the global marketing strategy, managing all outreach, brand strategy efforts, social media content engagement, creative services and advertising programming and partnerships.
In her new position, Ferrell will oversee the division responsible for properties and airline affairs at one of the world’s busiest airports, overseeing concessions, parking, advertising, external real estate development, air service development and innovation.
“Jai displays tremendous talent in so many areas,” says John Selden, ATL general manager, in announcing the appointment. “She is equipped and ready to lead the team.”
