Master ConcessionAir (MCA) announced this week it has hired David Flaherty as area director overseeing several airports for the organization, including but not limited to Newark Liberty International (EWR), Dulles International (IAD), Washington Reagan National (DCA) and Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International (ATL) airports.
Flaherty brings more than 20 years of combined experience in concession operations, business development, program management and contract compliance to his new role, including work for Areas USA, HMSHost and Concessions International.
Most recently, Flaherty served as the vice president – airport operations at REEF Kitchens.
“Dave is a highly talented industry leader, with extensive experience in all areas of airport concessions which will help guide future growth at MCA” said Master ConcessionAir CEO Peter Amaro in a press release announcing Flaherty’s hiring.
MCA is a certified ACDBE (Airport Concessions Disadvantaged Business Enterprise) food and beverage and retail operator based in Miami, Florida with more than 200 locations in 24 airports.
