Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International (FLL) celebrated local special needs youth and adults with the talent and fashion show “Runway in the Sky,” this past weekend.
The more than two-hour event was a partnership between the Broward County Aviation Department, Southwest Airlines and the No Limits Foundation and showcased some the uniqye talents of people with special needs.
The event, held pre-security in the Terminal 1 baggage claim area, featured two stages showcasing the talent portion and a “runway” for the fashion segment.
The keynote speaker was Dr. Rosalind Osgood, board member, District 5 for Broward County Public Schools, while the event was event was organized is Letitia Frosland, a local Southwest customer service representative.
