Floyd Named MEM Assistant Operations VP

The Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority this week announced that Adam Floyd has become its new assistant vice president, operations and will oversee the airside and landside operations for the Nashville International (BNA) and John C. Tune Airports (JWN).

Floyd brings more than 23 years of operational management experience in the aviation and maritime industries to this new role. Most recently he served as emergency management director for BNA’s Airport Communication and Emergency Operation centers. Previously, he was program director for the United States Coast Guard in New Orleans where he managed five operational security programs for 135 field offices in 26 states.

“I am very excited to lead the airside and landside operations at Nashville International Airport as the Assistant Vice President of Operations,” Floyd said in a press release announcing his new role. “BNA continues to be a vital asset for Middle Tennessee and serves as a gateway to Music City and beyond. With Middle Tennessee’s booming population, I am most looking forward to helping transform BNA into a world-class facility for the future of Nashville.”

Floyd was appointed following a search led by Jacksonville, FL-based ADK Consulting & Executive Search.
