SSP America has opened the Flying Saucer restaurant at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW). Flying Saucer Draught Emporium originally debuted in the mid-90s in Fort Worth as a restaurant and bar concept that embraced the burgeoning craft beer movement. Since then, fifteen Flying Saucers have opened in six states.
The DFW location consists of two floors, a full-service gastropub on the first and a full-service bar and live music venue on the top level. Beer options abound, with a rotating roster of 40 draught beers and as many as 52 bottled brews. Guests can get plates to share or indulge in their own favorite bar fare, like burgers, tacos and specialty bratwursts.
“The Flying Saucer offers passengers a true, only-in-DFW, authentic local experience,” says Kyle Phillips, senior director, business development for SSP America. “Featuring a formidable range of beers, rarely seen in an airport location, as well as live music performances from leading local and regional musicians, these two wholly unique concepts deliver a sense of place bar none. SSP America is proud to partner with and showcase the country’s very best local brands.”
