The Food & Shops at LaGuardia (LGA) want to give travelers a bit of entertainment while they wait for their flights.
Throughout the summer, musical acts will perform in the Central Terminal Building every Friday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the center food court between Gates B and C. Remaining concerts include Jesante Latin Music on Aug. 17 and The Caribbean Talent Mart on Aug. 24.
For younger travelers, kids are able to color at the Kids Coloring Station in the center food court, between Gates B and C, in front of Hudson Booksellers from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily through Sept. 4.
”We’re thrilled to bring live music performances to the Central Terminal Building,” says Lillian Tan, vice president and general manager of MarketPlace Development, the retail development company that manages the retail and food program in the terminal. “The summer music line-up is a real treat for our customers and it’s the perfect way to get into summer fun and spirit.”
