Fraport USA said this week that Nia Newton will become its new chief legal officer, providing strategic counsel on all legal, compliance, government affairs and human resource matters.
Newton joins Fraport USA from HMSHost, where she had been chief counsel since 2019. She also worked for the Municipal Securities Rulemaking Board in Washington, D.C.

She brings wide-ranging experience in all areas of airport leasing, licensing, franchising and commercial agreements as well as a depth of knowledge in corporate governance, compliance and regulatory matters,” said Michael Mullaney, Fraport USA CEO. “Nia’s addition continues our investment in people as we grow and continue our cultural transformation.”
