Fort Wayne International Airport (FWA) will open a new lounge designed for business travelers in 2025. The Gateway Lounge by STAR Bank, part of the airport’s East Terminal Expansion and Renovation Project, will offer passengers additional seating, restrooms, workspaces and light refreshments. The common-use lounge will be accessible to travelers through yearly memberships as well as day passes.
“Last year, FWA served over 795,000 passengers, marking a record year for the airport. The Gateway Lounge by STAR Bank is another fantastic addition to enhance travel and convenience at FWA,” said FWA executive director Scott Hinderman . “Alongside our ongoing and completed terminal improvements, these thoughtful amenities make a difference in the lives of travelers every day. We are grateful for STAR’s leadership and partnership in bringing this project to life.”
“STAR Bank has a significant focus on investing in our community, and The Gateway Lounge is a great example of another way we can serve our region,” added STAR Bank’s executive vice president of commercial banking Jim Cook. “The Gateway Lounge offers an elevated experience for travelers in a welcoming and comfortable environment, and we are thrilled to partner with FWA on this offering.”
