The Greater Orlando Aviation Authority (GOAA) Board has approved several major concessions and facility-related projects at Orlando International Airport (MCO). Improvements slated to begin in 2025 include a $13-million project to install new parking guidance technology across MCO garages as well work on over 40 new concessions concepts operated by OTG Concessions Management; Areas MCO 2 JV; SSP America MCO II; The Marshall Retail Group; NewsLink of Orlando NTC I; and Villa Restaurant Group Orlando. The airport’s new concessions will feature concepts from both national and local brands, including outposts of Central Florida-based dining concepts like Stasio’s Italian Deli, Smoke & Donuts, Kelly’s Ice Cream, SoDough Square, Milkhouse, Jam-Eng and 4Rivers Smokehouse.
“These are significant investments we are making at Orlando International Airport, and they really go to the heart of what we are about: creating timeless experiences for our guests who visit from around the world and here in Central Florida,” said GOAA CEO Kevin J. Thibault. “We are using emerging technologies to create seamless arrival to MCO with the new parking guidance system. Once visitors are here, they will be able to find unique and enjoyable restaurants and stores that are designed with passengers in mind.”
