Grab Expands Its Reach With HMSHost Partnership

Grab has entered into a partnership with another major airport concessionaire – HMSHost Corp.

“HMSHost is very excited to partner with Grab,” says Jeff Yablun, executive vice president and chief commercial officer for HMSHost. “This is a huge step towards increasing the convenience of dining for travelers and directly supports our goal to continue implementing innovative solutions that enable us to provide the best guest experience in the industry.”

Grab’s mobile app offers time-saving services to travelers on the go. Passengers can view menus, gauge wait times and place prepaid orders from their smartphones.

“The proliferation of Grab at airports across the country reflects traveler demand for convenience and a more personalized experience,” says Mark Bergsrud, Grab CEO. “Partnering with a travel restaurant leader and innovator like HMSHost demonstrates the value of an industry-wide approach to solutions like mobile commerce.”

HMSHost will integrate its technology and tools with the Grab app technology to bring the app’s services to more than 80 airports.

Grab is currently offering mobile ordering at more than 110 restaurants in 15 airports.
