Graziani Leaving Nuance At Year End

Roberto Graziani, president and CEO of The Nuance Group, will resign his position after 10 years at the helm. He will remain with the company through the end of 2014 to help integrate it with Dufry.

Dufry announced in June that it had acquired 100 percent ownership of The Nuance Group, a retail company with nearly 70 locations in 19 countries, including a handful in the United States and Canada.

Graziani, in a statement, thanked employees and airport and brand partners who contributed to Nuance’s success over the past decade. In addition to a portfolio of duty- and tax-free stores, brand boutiques and concept stores, Nuance also provides in-flight services and operates a wholesale and distribution business that supports the travel retail sector.

“I am very proud of all the great things we were able to achieve together,” he says. “Whatever my professional future will reserve for me, Nuance will always be at the heart of my journey.”
