Green Named To Lee County Airports Committee

The Lee County Port Authority Airports Special Management Committee has a new member.

Katherine “Kitty” Green has been appointed by Lee County Port Commissioner Brian Bigelow as a member of the panel, which serves as an advisory board to the Lee County Board of Port Commissioners, reviewing policy, administrative and management matters for Southwest Florida International (RSW) and Page Field General Aviation (FMY).

Green has more than 20 years of experience in community development, planning, business management, marketing and public relations. She has held executive leaderships positions at The Bonita Bay Group and WCI Communities.

She is also on the boards of Habitat for Humanity of Lee County, the Horizon Council and the Southwest Florida Expressway Authority, and was named one of the 2008 Men & Women of the Year by Gulfshore Life magazine.

She holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of South Florida.
