The Sanford Airport Authority, operator of Orlando Sanford International Airport (SFB), this week named Nicole Guillet as the new president and CEO of the airport.
Guillet had previously been serving as executive vice president of commercial development, real estate, and legal affairs for the Airport Authority. Before taking that position in December of last year, she was the county manager for Seminole County, leading the
county’s 1,300 employees and administering an $850 million budget.
She succeeds Tom Nolan, who is retiring just a couple of years after being named to the position in 2020.
“We have a great team here at the airport and we are excited to have Nicole as our new leader,” said Jennifer Dane, Sanford Airport Authority board chairman, “She is an experienced CEO with a strong track record of effective leadership within complex public agencies. Her professional experience and legal training made her an exceptional candidate.”
The board is expected to formally approve Guillet’s contract at their next meeting July 12th, where at that time they will determine her start date for her new role.
