HMSHost Corp. and Airmall have teamed to bring a taste of the city’s rock and roll culture to Cleveland-Hopkins International (CLE).
Sammy Hagar joined officials from both companies last week to cut the ribbon on the opening of Sammy’s Beach Bar & Grill.
The restaurant, located on Concourse A, is decorated with vibrant colors and an electric atmosphere just like a sunny day at the beach, according to HMSHost officials. Guitars and memorabilia highlighting the careers of Hagar and Van Halen’s rock ’n’ roll days adorn the walls and ceilings along with surfboards and palm trees.
“What could be more appealing to travelers than combining great music and dining?” Hagar says. “With a menu developed from the recipes of some of my favorite friends and celebrity chefs and the ambiance of a beach vacation, travelers will be able to relax and unwind before their flight.”
This is the fourth Sammy’s location across the country and “we’ve found that travelers love what Sammy brings to the airport – great food, fun music and a relaxing beach atmosphere,” says Bryan Loden, senior director of business development for HMSHost.
