Airport Experience News has named Ingrid Hairston, director of business initiatives for Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU) as its 2019 Property Manager of the Year.
“We are honored to recognize Ingrid Hairston for this award,” says Ramon Lo, publisher of AXN. “Her accomplishments at RDU and her standing among her peers made this an easy decision.”
Hairston has been with RDU for 29 years and has been in the business development division since 1996. During her tenure, Hairston has overseen a concessions program that has increased four-fold to $64 million. Among her many accomplishments are the completion of a newly renovated Terminal 1, a refreshing of the concessions program in Terminal 2, and the execution of new rental car leases. Prior to RDU, Hairston served as an operations supervisor at Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (MSY). She is an Accredited Airport Executive and Project Management Professional and current chairs the ACI Commercial Management Committee.
Hairston will be presented the award March 4 during the Airport Experience Awards program on the final night of the 2020 Airport Experience Conference.
