Half Moon Empanadas Brings Latin Food To MIA

As part of its efforts to diversify eating options at Miami International (MIA), the airport this week opened its doors to locally based Half Moon Empanadas.

It is located in the North Terminal Marketplace, a collection of eateries and shops in Concourse D that gives travelers a sampling of the region’s diverse demographics.

“One of my top priorities since taking the helm at MIA two years ago has been to give our passengers more dining options that appeal to their various cultural tastes,” says Emilio T. Gonzalez, aviation director. “As the busiest U.S. airport for travel to and from Latin America and the Caribbean, Half Moon Empanadas is a perfect fit for our broad spectrum of international travelers.”

Half Moon Empanadas is a certified Airport Concessions Disadvantaged Business Enterprise.
