HMSHost Corp. has promoted Stephanie Havard and Derryl Benton.
Havard, who has been with HMSHost for more than 20 years, was named executive vice president of restaurant development. She’ll oversee strategic investment, concept development and design and construction.
Benton, a 25-year veteran of the airport industry, has been named executive vice president of business development, where he’ll oversee the winning and extending of industry contracts. He joined HMSHost from Hudson Group where he was responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities in North America. He also has worked at the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority, where he oversaw a $500 million concessions program and administered small business procurement policies.
“I am so pleased to announce these two new appointments to HMSHost’s executive team,” says Steve Johnson, president and CEO. “Stephanie has been such an integral part of the team for more than 20 years and her financial acumen and industry knowledge will be invaluable in this new role. Derryl is also an industry veteran, with 25 years of insight and experience, and his relationship-building skills and reputation for developing creative solutions for clients will be considerable assets as we move forward.”
