The Hillsborough County Aviation Authority, operator of Tampa International Airport (TPA), has named Alex Heiter as director of research and air service development.
In his new role, Heiter will direct the execution of strategic and tactical plans to support and increase flights to existing domestic and international markets and attract prospective new airlines and destinations.
Heiter is a 25-year aviation industry veteran, most recently working as the Boeing Commercial Airplanes’ managing director of marketing for Europe. Prior to joining Boeing, Heiter worked at Continental Airlines, serving as senior manager of network planning and as a principal in the airline consulting practice of Sabre Airline Solutions.

He was placed in his position following a search by ADK Consulting & Executive Search, retained consulting and search firm based in Jacksonville, Florida
