High Flying Opens Southie At OAK

High Flying Foods has opened an airport location of the popular local eatery Southie at Oakland International Airport (OAK).

Located in OAK Terminal 2, Southie offers travelers with fresh salads, soups, sandwiches, and breakfast made from local ingredients, and also features a wide coffee and espresso selection from local Highwire Coffee Roasters. For travelers in a hurry to make their final boarding call, a selection of menu items are also available to grab on the go.

“Our airport team continues to make strides in our effort to bring the flavors of our beautiful city to the passengers that fly through OAK,” said Craig Simon, OAK interim director of aviation. “We applaud our concessionaire High Flying Foods for collaborating with Southie streetside to bring this new unit to life. Southie will give East Bay travelers a spot to grab a bite that is not only quick and convenient, but also fresh and tasty with plenty of healthy options.”
