HMSHost Adds Bistrot At YUL

HMSHost Corp.’s latest addition at Montreal-Pierre Elliot Trudeau International (YUL) is Bistrot. This marks the concept’s first two locations in North America.

Both YUL Bistrot locations are in the airport’s post-security departures area – one near Gate 48 and one near Gate 59. The locations are laid out like urban-type markets, with multiple food stations such as a bakery component, a pasta station, a café component and street-food fare.

“Born out of the Italian heritage for exceptional quality ingredients and flavors, Bistrot Montreal-Trudeau bolsters the airport’s selection of world-class dining and invites travelers to enjoy a well-deserved moment of relaxation and excellent cuisine before their flight,” says Steve Johnson, president and CEO of HMSHost.

The concept offers fair-trade espresso, cappuccino or latte, as well as almond croissants, salmon and dill cream cheese bagels and seasonal fruits. Additionally, travelers can choose savory options like the Panini Caprese Au Prosciutto or the Sandwich Au Smoked Meat Du Bistrot.

Bistrot also offers fresh-made past with crème de parmesan or house-made arrabbiata sauce. Travelers can create their own plates from an assortment of proteins accompanied by grilled vegetables or roasted potatoes. Cheese and charcuterie platters and soups are available for diners looking for lighter snacks.

“We are delighted to be adding this outstanding international banner to our growing and increasingly diverse list of commercial offerings,” says Philippe Rainville, president and CEO of Aéroports de Montreal. “Our goal is offer a wide-range of options to our passengers, with a balanced mix of local and international brands.”
