HMSHost Brings 4 Retail Concepts To PDX

HMSHost Corp. has opened four retail concepts – The Market, The Oregonian News, Rich’s News and Kiehl’s – at Portland International (PDX).

“These new retail locations will bring travelers all their favorite offerings with the convenience needed when you’re about to catch a flight,” says HMSHost Vice President of Business Development Renee Tedesco. “We’re very pleased to be able to work with Portland International Airport to deliver the best of the local area, with brands that travelers know and love.”

At The Market, guests will find health and wellness offerings, including products by Gaiam and salads and sandwiches from the city’s own Elephant’s Delicatessen.

Those seeking on-the-go items such as snacks and news can find them at The Oregonian News and Rich’s News. The Oregonian news is a local staple, providing news and Pulitzer-prize winning stories to its readers for more than 160 years. Rich’s News is an exclusive brand developed for the airport with Portland’s 100-year-old Rich’s Cigar Store and Magazines; travelers at the PDX location will find bestsellers, magazines and local gifts.

Kiehl’s offers skin and hair care in an old-world apothecary setting.

“We are very excited to be bringing these popular brands to our airport,” says Chris Madsen, general manager of business and properties for the Port of Portland. “These new locations will provide our guests with top-quality offerings, from both local and national favorite brand names.”
