HMSHost Brings MacCool’s Pub To YYZ

Toronto’s popular Irish pub Fionn MacCool’s has landed in Terminal 3 at Toronto Pearson International (YYZ).

“We value our partnership with Toronto Pearson International Airport and are pleased to make the Toronto traveler’s day better with this outstanding restaurant,” said Joe Waller, vice president of business development for HMSHost Corp., which opened the pub.

“HMSHost is a great partner and we are very happy to have Fionn MacCool’s at the airport,” said Janine Gervais, general manager of retail for the Greater Toronto Airports Authority. “Throughout the airport, HMSHost delivers terrific restaurants that make our guests’ time at Toronto Pearson enjoyable.”

MacCool’s is part of the Prime Pubs company; the menu at YYZ includes Irish Breakfast, Guinness Steak and Mushroom Crock, Shepherd’s Pie, Tandoori Salmon Sandwich and Chicken Tikka Masala.

HMSHost has also opened a Great Canadian Bagel near the new Gate 193. Menu offerings include breakfast such as bagels, cream cheese spreads, soups, salads, snacks, desserts and made-to-order deli sandwiches; there is also a bar serving cocktails, wine by the glass, and draught and bottled beer.
