HMSHost Brings New Brewpub To CMH

Land-Grant Brewing Company is now pouring pints in Concourse B of John Glenn Columbus International (CMH), courtesy of HMSHost Corp.

Based on the brewery of the same name in Columbus, the airport location will serve drafts from an eight-beer tap system. Beers available include the 1862 Ale Kolsch, Greenskeeper Session IPA, Son of a Mudder Brown Ale and Stiff-Arm IPA. Seasonal beers will also be rotated in throughout the year.

The restaurant’s menu features the Greenskeeper Reuben with kraut flavored by the Greenskeeper Session IPA, dirty chips with a barbecue sauce flavored by the Son of a Mudder Brown Ale, a BBQ chicken sandwich and BBQ chicken flatbread – both of which also use the special BBQ sauce. Healthier options include the black bean burger, caprese flatbread, chopped salad or the power wrap, which is made with a spinach tortilla wrap, fresh vegetables and red quinoa.

“Working with John Glenn Columbus International Airport and Land-Grant Brewing Company to open this new bar and restaurant is so exciting because we are giving travelers access to one of the most popular craft breweries in Columbus,” says Kent Vanden Oever, vice president of business development at HMSHost. “Land-Grant is great for the airport because it represents locally made beer and home sports teams. It’s a fun atmosphere; it creates a sense of place and shows local pride.”
