Passengers at San Diego International (SAN) will have four new eateries to dine at within a year, courtesy of HMSHost Corp.
The highest profile restaurant will be opened by Chef Martin Yan, who will bring his popular Northern California restaurant Yan Can Cook to SAN. Yan, a cooking show host, instructor and author, will partner with HMSHost to open the venue in the pre-security area of Terminal 1.
The concept, his first airport location, will include Asian dishes such as Kung Pao Chicken and specialties such as lettuce wraps and Crispy Pot Stickers.
In addition to Yan Can Cook, HMSHost is bringing a Brioche Doree Café© & Bakery, a French-country café©; a Chili’s Too!; and a Quiznos to different parts of Terminal 1.
Brioche Doree features artisan breads and pastries baked fresh throughout the day in full view of the customers.
