HMSHost Brings Shake Shack To LAX

HMSHost, in partnership with developer Westfield, will open Shake Shack at Los Angeles International (LAX) in Terminal 3 on June 28. The “modern day roadside burger stand” features antibiotic-free Angus beef burgers, hormone-free chicken, flat-top dogs, frozen custard, crinkle cut fries and other

offerings.

In addition to its lunch and dinner offerings, the LAX Shake Shack will be open for breakfast with a variety of breakfast sandwiches and coffee from Stumptown Coffee Roasters.

“We’ve always had hopes for an LAX restaurant and are thrilled that it’s becoming a reality,” said Michael Kark, vice president of global licensing at Shake Shack.

Rob Van Snik, senior vice president of commercial operations for Westfield Airports, said it is “a thrill” to add Shake Shack at LAX. “It’s a game changer for the experience at Terminal 3, and an exciting part of the transformation taking place both inside Terminal 3 and throughout the entire airport.”
