HMSHost Contract Extended At CMH

HMSHost Corp.’s contract with John Glenn Columbus International (CMH) has been extended for another eight years, bringing the term to the end of 2027. The contract is valued at $204 million in total revenue.

“HMSHost values strongly our partnership with the [Columbus Regional Airport Authority], and we are very excited to continue working together to serve Columbus travelers,” says Kent Vanden Oever, vice president of business development. “With the restaurant changes planned, we will be able to give travelers in all areas of the airport an opportunity to experience a great sense of place while they dine and visit.

Host will be recreating existing restaurants and will add a Starbucks location to the pre-security area. New dining options include Land-Grant Brewing Company, a pub that will serve up a selection of local brews and a complemented menu by HMSHost chefs in Concourse B; American Craft Tavern, a Samuel Adams-themed bar; and PGA Tour Grill, a concept Host has recently opened or plans to open in other airports as well.

“The airport authority is pleased to be collaborating with HMSHost on these exciting restaurant plans, including the addition of Land-Grant Brewing, another hometown favorite,” says Elaine Roberts, president and CEO of the Columbus Regional Airport Authority. “We appreciate HMSHost’s investment and their commitment to enhance the customer experience at John Glenn International. We’re pleased to continue our partnership with them.”
