HMSHost, Darden Partner On LongHorn Steakhouse At ATL

HMSHost Corp. and Darden Restaurants have partnered to bring LongHorn Steakhouse to Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International (ATL).

The restaurant opened in early February in Concourse C.

LongHorn is an Atlanta brand. It will serve traveling guests steaks that are hand-seasoned and grilled on a hot steel flat top and open-flame char grills.

The partnership makes HMSHost the first domestic franchisee to work with Darden, according to a news release.

“We are absolutely thrilled to be partnering with such a well-respected restaurant company,” says Anthony Alessi, vice president of business development for HMSHost. “LongHorn Steakhouse has such a prominent sense of place in Atlanta, with years and years of local history, but also has the national recognition of a loved and trusted restaurant that serves great steaks.”

Terry Stanley, senior vice president of business development for Darden, says such partnerships allow the company to grow while leveraging the experience HMSHost brings to airports.

“As Darden continues to grow, non-traditional locations hold intriguing possibilities for our brands,” he says.
