Nineteen new food and retail concepts and brands, including both local and national brands, will open at Austin Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) as part of the East Terminal renovations and the nine-gate expansion project.
HMSHost, a new concessionaire to the airport, will bring eight concepts to the concessions program. The company will operate a food hall that will include Austin Beer Drop, a draft beer taproom by Austin Beerworks; Hardies Fresh Food Market, a local produce and culinary souvenir shop; Noble Sandwich Co., a local made-from-scratch sandwich shop; and Sushi-A-Go-Go by Kome, serving signature rolls, sashimi, and sushi.
HMSHost will also open 24 Diner, a chef-inspired comfort food menu based on a local concept; Jugo Juice, offering grab-n-go foods, juices, and smoothies; Parkside, a restaurant inspired by Chef Shawn Cirkiel’s downtown East 6th St. location; and Starbucks.
New-to-AUS brands from Paradies Lagardère will include: Brighton Collections, accessories, women’s jewelry, and handbag boutique; CNBC news store, offering snacks, beverages, and basic travel essentials; Salvation Pizza, a local New Haven-style pizza kitchen with thin, hand-pounded crusts; and The Scoreboard, an athletic retail shop. Paradies Lagardère will also open a second location of Barton Springs Express, offering snacks, beverages, and basic travel items.
Delaware North is introducing Caffe’ Medici, a local specialty espresso and coffee house; Hammer Made, a men’s clothing boutique; and Toy Joy & Yummi Joy, offering specialty toys and nostalgic candy. Delaware North will also open a second location of Austin Chronicle, an Austin-themed novelty and souvenir shop.
Other new concepts opening at AUS will be XpresSpa; James Avery, which offers local artisan jewelry, charms, and pendants; InMotion, airport and premium electronics retailer, and a duty free shop.
